30 m² Cruising Centerboarder

Wherever white sails, tight with wind, are dotting lake and river sceneries, the cruising centerboarder ranks first in popularity among cruising and camping boats.

There is hardly any other sailboat that combines quality and perfect boat building workmanship with utmost roominess and that certain distinction so peculiar to yachting in a similarly perfect way as the 30 m² cruising centerboarder does.

Here, yachtsmen will be delighted to spot both a family boat, with any convenience and equipment required for cruising and camping, and a racer of rakish design and topnotch sailing qualities, as well.

Construction Standards

Built in accordance with the specifications of the German Yachting Union (DSSV) of the German Democratic Republic and the German Yachtmen’s Union (DSV) of the German Federal Republic, this boat complies with any building and rating rules of both these unions.

The hull of this boat is ledge-constructed of mahogany and was given a water-proof gluing and a copper-riveting. Only her garboard strake is broader planks. Top-quality oak was used for making keel, ribs, cut water, floor timbers, etc. of this boat, while the plate deck is built of highgrade mahogany.

Excellent precious woods were used for constructing the cabin trunk. The cabin equipment consists of two large sofa berths, each being 1.90 m long, a cupboard for linen and clothing, and a pantry practical in use. Moreover, the spacious fore peak sleeps the third crew member and another one can still be accommodated there, with ease.

Large windows in the stylishly shaped cabin side wall add up to the markedly dashing features of this boat, and provide for a singular amount of daylight in the cabin.
